Common questions
Is earthquake covered on a WA homeowners policy?
No — it's a separate endorsement or standalone policy. In seismic zones like the Puget Sound region, we recommend at least a quote.
Does flood insurance come with my policy?
No. Homeowners policies exclude flood. Flood is written through the NFIP or private carriers; we can shop it either way.
How much dwelling coverage should I carry?
Enough to fully rebuild at today's construction costs — not the market value or purchase price. We run a reconstruction cost estimate as part of every home quote.
